Evelyn M. (Martin) Cooper

Evelyn M. Cooper born in Wilkinsburg on April 5, 1935, age 81 on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 of Brentwood.
Beloved wife of Gary Jon Cooper.
Loving mother of Deborah (Wil) Brandt and Jonathan (Jyll Rocco) Cooper.
Cherished grandmother of Dawn Dallmus, McKennan  and Kennedy Cooper, Kendra and Wil Brandt.
Preceded in death by her sister Ruth Haude of North Canton, Ohio.
Aunt of Daniel, Steven and Karen Haude.
Also survived by numerous cousins.
Evelyn became a Registered Nurse from the Presbyterian University School of Nursing, received her B.S.N from the Ohio State University.
Served as a Head Nurse in Orthopedic Trauma Unit at Presbyterian University Hospital of Pittsburgh.  Then was a Staff Nurse for 25 Years in the Neuro-Trauma Unit at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  During her career she taught nursing at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton NJ, for the State BOCES program in Canandaigua NY and later at CCAC in Allegheny County.
Evelyn sang in the church choir wherever her husband's ministry took the family, for the last 23 years at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church.
Evelyn was also very active in Theater Productions at O.S.U. and sang for several years in the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh and Washington County Arts Choir.
Family will receive friends on Sunday Jan. 29, 2017 from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM in the Brentwood Presbyterian Church 3725 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh PA 15227.
Family asking contributions in lieu of flowers to be made to Organ Fund of Brentwood Presbyterian Church.
