“Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality.” – Emily Dickinson

Janice was loved by the many she took care of. For the majority of her life, she dedicated herself to comforting and taking care of patients at UPMC. She cared about her job immensely and made sure people were fine in their gravest time of need.

Over the years, she had many different dogs that she cared for deeply. These dogs sparked a light in her heart and she'd do anything to make sure they had the best life possible.

Most importantly, she tremendously cared about her friends and family. Through any situation, Janice was there to provide comfort and care.

It was such a shock to hear about Janice's passing. We had such a great visit last weekend when Janice made her ceramic Halloween Pumpkin. We will miss Aunt Janice and fondly remember the years of good times we shared as a family. My love and prayers to those left behind. May God send you His strength and love in this trying time.

Janice was one of God's angels on earth. She was always thinking of others and helping anyone who needed her. Nothing that you asked her to do was ever too much. She loved her family and dog very, very much. She always had a kind word to say about everyone that she knew. She enjoyed life and we had many great times laughing, talking and singing together. She will certainly be missed by our family as she was Aunt Janice to all of our kids. I do not know what I will ever do without you, my dear friend. I know God is rejoicing to have His special angel in heaven with him but we will miss you very much. May God hold all of you, especially you, Richard, in the palm of His hand and give you peace.
