The following service packages are offered in conjunction with the purchase of a CASKET from this firm for the convenience of our families. These packages represent variations of traditional services which are customary in this area. If a package is selected, all the listed items will be provided or available and cannot be declined in part. You have the right to select individual services from the itemized general price list upon request.
Packages are an alternative to selecting each individual item from the funeral home's itemized general price list for services desired. If the purchaser provides their own casket all services desired will be charged from the funeral home's itemized general price list.

Services of Funeral Director and Staff (Licensed & Non-Licensed Personnel)

Our fee for the services of licensed funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notices; including coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others. Also included in the charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Embalming

Embalming, sanitation, restoration and preparation of remains in accordance with all PA State Health Laws and Regulations, including the use of preparation room facilities, special equipment, and hazardous waste disposal as per regulations.
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Receiving Of Remains From Another Funeral Home
This charge includes temporary shelter of remains (Not To Exceed One Day), removal from airport or other funeral facilities (within a 15 mile radius), and necessary services of staff. This charge does not include visitation, rites, ceremonies, hearse, clergy/leadcar, merchandise or cash advance items.
