Dr. James Maynard Stright

Dr. James Maynard Stright, D.C.
On March 29, 2020, Dr. James M. Stright passed away due to complications from a stroke. He was 72 years old.
James was born January 11, 1948 to Marshall and Mary Stright. He graduated from Swissvale High School and went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic and got his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Jim was an active member of the Phi Kappa Chi fraternity, and star player for the varsity rugby team. James was also a Mason of the Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge #526 of Elizabeth, Pa.
James married Alison, the love of his life, in 1974. Alison passed away in 2011. James is survived by his brother   Marshall Stright II, and his three children Alex (Bridget Kearney), Megan and Sarah (Patrick Woehler) Stright, as well as his grandkids Nico, Brayden, Alex, Alison, Alivia, and Liam of Jefferson Hills, Pa. James was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Mary, and brother Robert Stright.
James was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He had many great accomplishments in his life, but for Jim, his family was the greatest. James was a hard worker who loved playing one handed golf with his son Alex, and his friends. James also enjoyed bike riding and hiking in his earlier days. He loved taking his grandchildren to the movies and out to eat. He deeply loved and enjoyed spending time with his friends, making wine, and always being the life of the party. If there was a joke to be told, he would tell it. James will truly be cherished and missed.
