Kathleen A. (Stewart) Montgomery

Kathleen A. Montgomery (formerly Kathleen A. Stewart), age 66, formerly Hazelwood, passed away peacefully on April 7th, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Born April 4th, 1957, Kathleen devoted her life’s time to others, being employed by Asbury Heights. She believed in the values of kindness and compassion. Above all, Kathy dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She deeply cared for her sisters, Joann Pflugh and the late Sharon Stewart. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Colleen Stewart and Kristine Reinhardt; her boyfriend, Kenny Price; her sister, Joann Pflugh (Terence Pflugh); her grandchildren, Angela Bucco, Riley Bucco, Jayden Mros, Hailey Stewart, Kristopher Rehinard, Nicole Tucker, Kayla Horvat, Isabella Horvat, and Alexia Horvat; her sweet dog, Shortee; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews; and countless friends and coworkers. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Stewart (Allen Tucker); her sister, Sharon Stewart; and her late husband, Michael Montgomery. Kathy leaves behind her love for the Pittsburgh Penguins and her love for her family. Join the family in her services on Monday, April 10th at Readshaw Funeral Home, 1503 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15210, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11th at 10:00 AM. Her interment will be held at Southside Cemetery.
