On March 30, 2020, Mark Colt Burkhart, of Bethel Park (formerly of Brentwood), passed away peacefully at home due to natural causes.  He was born December 12, 1956 in Pittsburgh.
Best friend and husband of 40 years to Kyle Marie (McSparren) Burkhart.
Cherished father of the late Mark Charles Burkhart.
Loving son of the late Charles W. and Florence C. (Kessner) Burkhart.
Adored brother of Harriet E. Cadena (the late Manuel) and the late Florence C. Caliguire (the late Louis and Paul Struppa).
Brother-in-law of Karen Demetrio, Kevin (Lindy) McSparren, the late Kimberly Patterson, Kendall McSparren, Kelly Nelson, and Karol (Terri) Cortright.
“Brother” to his Cousins Amy, Danny, George, Patty, Harry, Cindy, Danette, Keith, Heidi, Kurt, Abby, Lori, Gretchen, and Carol.
Proud Godfather to Kyle Kessner.
He was blessed to be “Ope” to Liam, Nathan, Cooper, Nyah, River, Reed, and the future Baby Martin.
He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Mark loved life and had a wonderful sense of humor.  He loved the Steelers, fishing, hunting, hippos, traveling, and most of all his family and friends.  He graduated from Brentwood HS in 1974 and entered the United States Air Force.  He proudly served his Country.  He always said he lived in the best Country in the world.  He may have lived in Bethel Park, Brentwood, Phoenix, and Sacramento but he was always a Pittsburgher through and through.  He bled Black and Gold.
Our Lord has welcomed him with his loving arms.
A Private Service will be held on June 22, 2020 at the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies with Full Military Honors.
