Nicole M. Kehren

On January 10, 2023, Nicole Marie Kehren, age 39 of Bethel Park (formerly and proudly from Carrick) accepted the invitation from God to be one of his Heavenly Angels.  She was surrounded by her loving family as she started on her new journey.  She courageously and bravely battled a very aggressive form of Esophageal and Stomach Cancer for the past year.  She won the Battle!  Her body just wasn’t strong enough!  Cancer did not take Nikki!!  Jesus took her home!

Nikki was born on February 3rd, 1983, at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and came out sassy from the start!

Nikki was loving, kind, caring, and had one wicked sense of humor!  As a family we watched her grow into a beautiful woman, have two precious children with the love of her life, become a wonderful friend to many, an excellent baker, a phenomenal cook, a kickass softball player, she also enjoyed crocheting beautiful baby blankets for friends and family. She was her Momma’s pride and joy, and her Daddy’s little girl, and the love of Nate’s life.

She is survived by her perfect Soul Mate, Nate Rethage, and their two beautiful children, Nathan and Nyah; her mother, Danette Terlecki; Step Father, Joseph Terlecki;  Father, Harry Kehren; Step Mother, Cindy Kehren; Bonus Mother, Mary Rethage; “Aunt” Kyle (Oma) Burkhart; her #1 Big Brother Brian ”Bubbs” Kehren;  Sister Stacy Kehren;  Brothers Joey (Becky) Terlecki; Dan (Chrissy) Terlecki; Bill Thompson; Dave (Cheyenne) Thompson; Matt Thompson; Sister Nicole Rethage-Frady (Michael); Sister Marissa Rethage; the entire Rethage Clan and many precious Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and all her friends that became family.

Nikki will never be forgotten; we will miss her dearly.  Nothing can ever fill the hole she has left in our hearts, Rest in peace our dear, beautiful Nikki.

In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing trust funds for Nathan and Nyah.  Further details will follow.

Family and friends received Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2 PM unitl time of Celebration of Life at 7:30 PM in the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick.
