We were friends of Tom's through Scouting. We have photos through the years as we made our annual visit to Santa. That certainly brings a smile to our faces. Tom liked to tease me about whether we were "Lace Curtain Irish" ! It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to know Tom and work with him during our BSA volunteer years. Hold your memories close and his smile will continue to light up the day. Pat, Sue and Michael Flaherty Steel City District Scouters

May you find comfort in knowing how much he was a great influence in my life. He helped turn me and hundreds, (if not thousands), of young boys into men and outstanding citizens. I was truly blessed to have him around during my childhood.

Tom was my Scoutmaster at St. Basils up till the time I left for the service in 1961.
I got back into scouting after I got out in 1965 and ran into him on many occasions. He was a legend and will be missed.
